Samsung announced the Spinpoint N3U 250GB 1.8-inch hard drive that comes with native USB controller on its printed circuit board. The hard drive is really compact at the size of a credit card. Thanks to the built-in USB controller, the Spinpoint N3U is ideal for portable external storage devices as it eliminates need for additional PATA to USB controller.
The Spinpoint N3U line is available in 120-, 160-, 200- and 250-GB capacities. It features a disk rotation speed is 3600rpm and 8MB cache memory. It will be shipped in Mid-July with a starting price of $199.
