Acer‘s European arm Packard Bell refreshes the imedia desktop PC line with a new compact, fashionable design. The imedia desktop has a “sleek glossy black chassis with matt accents and soft curves highlighted by a glowing blue power on/off button.”
The new imedia line is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Quad or AMD’s Phenom II X4 quad core processor, up to 8GB RAM and either Intel’s integrated graphics or NVIDIA GeForce graphics up to GT230 with 1.5GB video memory. The desktop can be equipped with up to 1TB hard drive and optional Blu-ray combo drive. The PC offer an eSATA and a HDMI connectors.
Consumers can also add the optional DVB-T TV tuner with remote and WiFi connectivity.
