Though filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Psystar, the Mac-clone maker is not dead. The company just launches the new Open(7) Xeon-based Mac-clone computer.
The Open(7) is powered by Intel’s Xeon Nehalem quad-core 2.66GHz or 2.93GHz processor, and up to 12GB RAM. It is equipped with NVIDIA‘s graphics card ranging from GeForce 9500GT 512MB to GeForce 9800GTX 512MB. The Mac-clone has 1TB hard drive and a 20X DVD SuperMulti burner.
Psystar Open(7) starts at $1,734.99 with Mac OS X Leopard v10.5 included.
