Acer adds to its Gemstone family three new models, Aspire AS5536, Aspire AS7735Z and Aspire AS5739G. All of them come with a 16:9 widescreen, Dolby surround sound audio and a sapphire design known as Gemstone Blue.
First of all, the Aspire AS5536 is boosted by AMD’s Athlon 64 X2 QL-64 Dual-Core 2.1GHz processor, 3GB RAM, and ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics. It has a 320GB hard drive and a 15.6-inch LCD screen. Next is the Acer Aspire AS7735Z that sports an Intel Pentium T4200 2GHz CPU, 4GB RAM and integrated GMA4500MHD video chipset. You can find a 250GB hard drive and a 17.3-inch LCD display.
Lastly, the Aspire AS5739G is a multimedia notebook. It gets an Core 2 Duo T6500 2.1GHz processor, 4GB RAM and a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT130M graphics. It is also equipped with a 250GB hard drive, a 15.6-inch screen and a Acer Bio-Protection Fingerprint scanner.
All models have a 8X DVD SuperMulti DL burner and a multi-gesture touchpad. They all support WiFi 802.11b/g/n. Aspire AS5536, AS7735Z and AS5739G are priced at $479.99, $599.99 and $749.99 respectively.
