HP announced the Photosmart Premium with TouchSmart Web that is the world’s first web-connected home printer. The Photosmart Premium includes a full range of wired and wireless connectivity options including WiFi and Bluetooth.
HP brings the power of the web to the Photosmart Premium offering a new web-based printing platform with HP app that are are viewable on the 4.3-inch TouchSmart panel. Users are able to browse and view popular web destinations and simply touch the app of their choice to launch a web page where they can customize and print content on demand in an easy-to-read format.
In addition to preloaded apps, users can also download new apps from HP. Featured apps include USATODAY.com, Google Maps, Coupons.com, DreamWorks Animation. This web-based printer will be available in Fall 2009 for $399.
