AU Optronics (AUO) shows at the Display Taiwan 2009 its 9.8mm Ultra Slim Full-HD LCD panel. The HD panel is just 9.8mm thick, yet it offers 1920X1080p Full HD resolution with LED-backlight and 450cd/m2 brightness.

The panel supports PID(Public Information Display) application. It is mercury and lead free.
