LaCie introduces the LaCinema Black PLAY and LaCinema Black RECORD wireless HD media players. Both LaCinema devices have a 500GB or 1TB hard drive for storing media files. These players support Full HD 1080p media playback and output and does 1080i upscaling for standard definition movies. They can play most media files as listed below.
Both LaCinema Black PLAY and RECORD offer HDMI output and support Ethernet and WiFi 802.11n connectivity, which allows them to stream media files from network. The LaCinema Black RECORD includes also Digital Video Recorder (DVR) function that allows users to record, pause, and rewind their TV shows.
