Chinese company In Technology introduces the xpPhone that is basically a mixture of a mobile phone and a mobile internet device (MID). The xpPhone is claimed to be the first mobile phone running Windows XP.
Powered by an AMD mobile processor, the xpPhone has 512MB/1GB RAM and up to 120GB hard drive ot 64GB SSD. It has a 4.8-inch 800×480 touchscreen display, a 0.3/1.3 Megapixel webcam. It comes with built-in GPS receiver and supports WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth as well as optional WiMax. As the picture shown, it has a sliding QWERTY keyboard.
As for mobile network, the xpPhone supports most popular network standards, including GSMEDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA/HSUPA, CDMA2000, CDMA1x EVDO, TS-SCDMA and TD-HSDPA, which means buyers can pick what they need when they buy the xpPhone.
