Dell announced the new Latitude 2100 netbook that is designed for education market. The 10.1-inch netbook is student-rugged with a “four-square-ball-style” rubber casing that is designed to absorb the daily bumps and bruises of a crowded playground or backpack.
The Latitude 2100 is equipped with an Intel Atom N270 processor, integrated graphics traditional hard drive or SSD storage, 3-in-1 card reader, and Ethernet port. It has a 10.1-inch LCD display and optional webcam. The netbook runs either Windows XP Home, Windows Vista Home or Ubuntu Linux.
The Dell Latitude 2100 is available in five colors, School Bus Gold, Chalkboard Black, Ball Field Green, Blue Ribbon and Schoolhouse Red. The price starts at $369.
