HTC and Smartone-Vodafone, the exclusive carrier of the HTC Magic, have a launch event of the Magic Android phone in Hong Kong today and we are being invited to the event. During the event the pricing of the Magic has been announced, which HK$4680 (US$604).
Smartone-Vodafone has added tailor-made applications and function to the Magic, as to meet the needs of consumers in Hong Kong. Other than photos, we have also record video clips showing the main features of the Magic Hong Kong version, please allow us some time to process the video.
As you can see in the photo, there are a forums app for accessing Hong Kong’s most popular forums; a movie app for checking movie time and seat availability (but not able to buy tickets); a dining app for checking restaurants nearby; as well as apps for E! and Animax. Applications for Hong Kong stock market, news are also available.
Another customized functions include the the weather widget on the top of the screen.
History function is also added to the Always-on URL bar.
