Samsung officially announced the Galaxy I7500, its first Android-based smartphone. The I7500 features a 3.2-inch 320×480 AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, 8GB internal storage, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0. You can also expect integrated GPS receiver to be used with Google Maps.
Samsung’s Galaxy supports tri-band HSDPA/HSUPA as well as quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. The phone supports playback of MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV as well as MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, WMA, RA audio files. It supports microSDHC up to 32GB.
The I7500 runs Google’s Android OS and comes with Google services, including Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar, and Google Talk.
