Motorola’s MC17 series retail mobile computer has just got three industrial design awards including International Design Excellence award, iF Product Design award and Good Design award.
The MC17 is a multi-function mobile computer designed for retailers. It is powered by an Intel PXA270 312MHz (MC17) or an Intel PXA270 520 (MC17T) processor, 64MB RAM and 64MB ROM. The MC17T model will come with also 1GB SD storage.
The MC17 features a 2.8-inch 320×240 LCD display ((MC17 – non-touch screen; MC17T: touch screen), 6 fully programmable keys and support for WiFi (MC17 – 802.11b/g; MC17T – 802.11a/b/g). The MC17 is based on Windows CE 5.0 Professional.
