Panasonic announced the new Viera SV-ME850V waterproof portable 1Seg digital TV. he Viera SV-ME850V has a 5-inch LCD display and built-in 280mWx2 speakers. It has a SD/SDHC card slot and is able to play AAC, MP3, WMA and JPEG image from SD/SDHC cards. The 1Seg TV can also do 1Seg video recording to SD cards.
Panasonic SV-ME850V meets IPX6/IPX7 water resistant standard. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM/AM radio tuner and a USB 2.0 port.
At the same time, Panasonic offers the Viera SV-ME750 and Viera SV-ME700 that come without FM/AM tuner. The latter lacks 1Seg recording function also.
