Seagate introduces the new BlackArmor product line, which is a family of network-attached, workstation and portable storage solutions. The first two products of this new line is the BlackArmor NAS 440 and BlackArmor NAS 420 storage servers. Both of them are hot swappable four-bay NAS, with the NAS 440 comes with four drive configuration while the NAS 240 HAS two drives.
Seagate’s new BlackArmor NAS devices have a LCD screen showing settings and status information. They include RAID options and encryption protection.
The BlackArmor NAS 240 is available with 2TB capacity for $799.99, and the BlackArmor NAS 440 has a four drive configuration and is priced at $1,199.99 for 4TB, $1,699.99 for 6TB and $1,999.99 for 8TB. You can get them in May.
