HP announced the new Pavilion Elite m9600 series multimedia desktop PC with Intel’s Core i7 processor. The m9600 series is powered by up to an Intel Core i7 940 procesosr, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 1TB hard drive.
The $945 model gets a Core i7 920, 500GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GS graphics card and a DVD SuperMulti burner. Blu-ray DVD burner and ATI Radeon HD-4850 graphics options are also available.
Along with the new Pavilion Elite m9600, HP introduces four new LCD displays, including 18.5-inch HP w1858, 20-inch HP 2009m, 21.5-inch HP 2159m and 23-inch HP w2338h. All these monitors are of widescreen and the 2159m and w2338h offers HDMI port. As for pricing, the w1858 starts at $169, 2009m at $199, 2159m at $239 and w2338h at $299.
There is also HP Wireless Eco-Comfort Mouse that comes with a PVC-free design made with up to 30 percent recycled plastic. It costs $39.99.
