IO-Data presents the BDVRP-UH4, an ultra slim Blu-ray drive that can also write CD and DVD. The IO-Data BDVRP-UH4 is only 21m thick. This Blu-ray drive can read BD-R, BD-RE and BD-ROM at 4.8X. It can write DVD+/-R/RW at 8X and DVD+/-R dual layer at 4X, DVD-RAM at 5x and CD-R/RW at up to 24X.
IO-Data BDVRP-UH4 has 4MB buffer cache. It uses USB 2.0 interface. The device is in fact based on Hitachi LG’s CT10N.
