WD (Western Digital) introduces the newly redesigned My Book World Edition home network storage with 2TB capacity. Based on WD Green Power Drives, the My Book World Edition consume up to 33% less power. It has 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet port.
The 2TB NAS includes also a USB 2.0 Utility Port that turns any USB drive into an instant network drive or extra capacity for the My Book World Edition. It has DLNA 1.5 and UPnP certification to stream content to XboxBOX 360, Playstation3, wireless digital picture frames and connected audio receivers.
WD’s My Book World Edition is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, which are priced at USD $229.99 and $449.99 respectively.
