Samsung expands its SL series digital cameras by introducing the SL820 and the SL620 new models. Both SL820 and SL620 are 12.2 Megapixel cameras with a 5x optical zoom lens and a 3-inch LCD display.
The SL820 (aka Samsung IT100) fearues 28mm wide angle and is able to record 720p HD videos at 30fps in H.264 format. It offers HDMI connectivity through a cradle. The SL620 (aka Samsung PL65) instead record VGA clips at 30fps in MPEG4 format.
Both SL820 and SL620 features Optical and Digital image stabilization, Face Detection, Smile Shot, Blink Detection, Red-eye fix, and Photo Style selector.
Samsung SL820 will be released in May 2009 for $279.99 while the SL620 in March for $199.99.
