Dell releases the Wasabi PZ310 ink-free ultra portable photo printer based on the ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology. The Wasabi PZ310 is the fourth ZINK printer to feature the Zero INK technology. It can print a 2×3-inch photo in about 55 seconds.
Thanks to Bluetooth technology, users can send photos they want to print to the Wasabi wirelessly. Instead of ink, this ZINK-enabled printer is powered by ZINK Paper.
ZINK Paper is an advanced composite material with embedded yellow, magenta, and cyan dye crystals. ZINK-enabled devices use heat to activate and colorize these crystals. The printing process is now radically simple.
Dell Wasabi PZ310 can hold up to 12 sheets of ZINK papers. It is really portable measuring 122.5 x 75.0 x 24.2mm) for 225g. It comes with built-in 450mAh Li-ion battery. Comes in black, pink and blue, Wasabi PZ310 is priced at $99.
