Panasonic has just updated its Toughbook 19 and 30, and the company announces updates to its Toughbook 52 semi-rugged notebook. The Toughbook 52 now comes with a touchscreen option with integrated stylus. You may also get a 1,000 nit anti-glare (AG) and anti-reflective (AR) screen.
Based on Intel’s Centruno 2 with vPro technology, Panasonic’s Toughbook 52 is powered by a Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz or P8400 2.26GHz processor. The 2.4GHz model sports a 512MB ATI Radeon HD 3650 graphics and a 15.4-inch 1920×1200 widescreen HD LCD display, and the 2.26GHz model comes with integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD video card, either a 15.4-inch 1280×800 LCD screen or optional 13.3-inch touchscreen with stylus.
The semi-rugged Toughbook 52 has up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB hard drive, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth. You can also get the optional integrated Gobi 3G global mobile Internet (WWAN) module.
