HTC announced the new version of its Touch Cruise PDA phone, which is an update to the old one. The new Touch Cruise is the first phone to have the HTC Footprints function that allows users to integrated notes, audio clips and GPS location data with the photos taken.
Powered by Qualcomm’s MSM7225 528 MHz processor, the new Touch Cruise has 512MB of ROM adn 256MB of RAM. It features a 2.8-inch touchscreen, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, integrated GPS and A-GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot.
HTC’s Touch Cruise supports WCDMA/HSPA 900/2100MHz, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps mobile networks. It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. It will be launched in Q1 2009.
