Apricorn launches the new 1.5 TB DVR Xpander that can store up to 843 hours of standard TV or 187.5 hours of high definition programming. The Apricorn DVR Xpander is available in 500GB, 750GB, 1TB and 1.5TB capacities. They have 7200RPM hard drives with 8MB buffer.
The DVR Xpander uses USB 2.0 or eSATA interfaces. It has an iltra cool fan for keeping drive at optimal temperatures. The DVR Xpander works with Scientific Atlanta 8300 Series DVRs which is used by Time Warner, Cox Cable, Comcast, Rogers. Apricon offers a version for DISH Network too.
