Acer adds the Aspire X1700 to its small form factor (SFF) PC lineup joining the X3200 and X1200. The Aspire X1700 series is based on Intel’s processor and integrated NVIDIA graphics. The X1700 series starts at $409.99.
One of the models, the Aspire X1700-U3700A is powered by an Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200 2.4GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, Integrated NVIDIA GeForce G100 graphics and 640GB hard drive. The X1700-U3700A has a DVD+/- Dual Layer SuperMulti burner, a 14-in-1 card reader, 9 USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI and an eSATA port.
The Acer Aspire X1700-U3700A runs Windows Vista Home Primium. It is priced at $479.99.
Along with the new Acer Aspire X1700-U3700A, Acer introduces also the new Aspire Predator G7710, an upgrade to the G7700, gaming desktop PC that comes with an Intel i7-940 processor, 6GB of RAM and 1TB of hard dirve. It will be bundled with specially designed gaming mouse and a multimedia keyboard.
