Panasonic announced the new Lumix DMC-FS7 and the Lumix DMC-FS15, models from the FS-series a stylish sister line of the highly-acclaimed Lumix FX-Series.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS7 is a 10 Megapixel camera with a F2.8 Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens 4x optical zoom, while the 12 Megapixel Lumix DMC-FS15 has a 29mm wide-angle Leica DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with a 5x optical zoom.
Both FS7 and FS15 have the Venus Engine IV processor, Mega O.I.S, Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector and Face Detection. They have a newly-added independent iA button on top of the camera that lets the user enter directly into the mode without going into the menu. The new FS models can record 848×480 16:9 clips at 30fps or 640×480 videos. They come with a 2.7-inch LCD screen.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS7 will be available in silver, black, blue, pink and green for $159.95 and the Lumix DMC-FS15 will come in silver, black and blue at $199.95. They will be released in March 2009.
