Panasonic introduces the DMP-BD70V, the world’s first dual-deck VHS-Blu-ray player. This Blu-ray player can play VHS, CD, DVD and of course Full HD Blu-ray discs. It can do 1080p up-conversion for all video formats.

Panasonic’s DMP-BD70V, like its new HDTVs and multimedia products, supports the VIERA Cast for internet content. It comes with Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential audio decoder and delivers 7.1-channel surround sound.

The DMP-BD70V has a SD memory that allows image and HD video playback. This VHS-Blu-ray dual format player has the PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus processor for enhanced picture quality. It supports VIERA Link and has HDMI output.

Panasonic DMP-BD70V will be available in April for $399.95.
