In addition to digital photo frames introduced here and here, ViewSonic brings to the CES 2009 also the VieBook netbook, VPC100 ViePC all-in-one PC and LinkPC, an attachable PC. All of them are based on Intel’s Atom platform.
ViewSonic VieBook is a netbook with a 10.2-inch LCD display, while the VPC100 ViePC is an all-in-one PC with a 18.5-inch 16:9 LCD screen. The LinkPC is a PC box that can be attached to the back of any VESA compatible monitor.
ViewSonic’s three new PC products are almost identical in terms of configuration. They are powered by Intel’s Atom 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 160GB hard drive. They have WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. The VPC100 ViePC gets also a DVD+/-RW burner.
ViewSonic will launch the VieBook and VPC100 ViePC in February 2009 for $429 and $549 and the LinkPC will be available in March 2009 for $399.
