After the quad interface Blu-ray burner, HDD dock and HDD enclosure, Verbatim announced the new quad interface external hard drive with 500GB or 1TB storage capacity. Like other quad interface devices, Verbatim’s hard drive supports USB 2.0, FireWire 400, FireWire 800 and eSATA II interfaces.
Measures 8.7 in. X 5.9 in. X 1.5 in, Verbatim’s 3.5 quad interface drive has a sleek, durable black aluminum case. The drive offers 7200rpm spindle speed and 32MB cache memory.
The suggested retail pricing of Verbatim Quad Interface hard drive will be US$179.99 for the 500GB version and US$249.99 for the 1TB drive.
