NU launches the EBC100 the world’s first and slimmest external Blu-ray combo drive. The NU EBC100 burns DVD+/-R at 8X, DVD+/-RW at 4X, DVD+/-R DL at 2X, and DVD-RAM at 5X. It can read BD-ROM at 2X speed.
The EBC100 supports also BD-R and BD-RE reading. It can also burn CD-R and CD-RW at 8X and 4X respectively. The slim external Blu-ray combo supports Smooth Link Buffer Under-run Prevention Technology for preventing buffer under-run. It uses USB 2.0 and supports plug-n-play.
