LaCie introduces the new Ethernet Disk, a network-attached storage (NAS) in 1U 19-inch rack form factor with up to 6TB storage capacity. The LaCie Ethernet Disk is powered by a VIA C7 1GHz processor and 256MB DDR RAM with 8MB cache.
LaCie’s Ethernet Disk has a Gigabit Ethernet port, four USB 2.0 ports, a VGA out, and PS ports for mouse and keyboard. The Ethernet Disk supports SMB (Windows), AFP (Mac), FTP, HTTP, and Bonjour network protocols and up to 25 simultaneous users.
LaCie Ethernet Disk is available in 2TB, 4TB and 6TB storage capacities priced at $749.99, $1099.99 and $1499.99 respectively.
