Olympus adds the new E-30 digital SLR camera to its E-System lineup. The E-30 sits between the E-520 and the E-3. It offers the same high imaging quality of the E-3 and the consumer-friendly features of the E-520.
Olympus E-30 has a 12.3-megapixel high-speed Live MOS image sensor, TruePic III+ Image Processor, and the Full Time Autofocus Live View. It offers two fast autofocus systems, the Fast Autofocus with AF Live View and the Phase Detection AF. E-30 comes with a swivel 2.7-inch Live View LCD display.
The Olympus E-30 will be available in January 2009 for a suggsted price of $1299. Olympus will also releases the ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-54mm f2.8-3.5 II lens for $599.
