This is USI’s MIS-160, that is the world’s thinnest Mobile Internet Device (MID) based on Intel’s Atom processor. This thinnest MID has been showcased at the IDF in Taiwan.
The USI MID-160 is powered by an Intel Atom, 512MB RAM, 8GB SSD for storage. It has a 5-inch touchscreen display and supports WiFi 802.11b/g, HSDPA, Bluetooth, GPS and even WiMax. It comes with a SIM card slot, and a microSD card slot. MID-160 offers also 3.5mm headphone jack.
USI MID-160 RUNS Ubuntu Linux. It weighs only 250g.
