Samsung brings to the US its P series business laptop PCs, including the P460 and P560 that are semi-ruggedized. Both P460 and P560 are powered by Intel’s Centrino 2 processor technology with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 3GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GS dedicated graphic card.
They feature also WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, HDMI port and fingerprint reader. The P460 has a 14.1-inch LCD and the P560 ahs a 15.4-inch screen, and both displays have the Ambient Light Sensor (ALS) for adjusting the display brightness to optimize viewing. There are also spill resistant keyboard and shock resistant hard disk drive.
The price of P460 and P560 ranges from $1,149 to $1,399.
Along with the P460/P560, Samsung is also launching the X360, X460, NC10, Q310, and R610.
