Philips has sold its mobile phone division to Chinese cellphone maker, CECT. Since then, the brand Philips is mainly targeted at the Chinese market. Recently the company introduces the Philips TM700 mobile phone that supports China’s 3G standard TD-SCDMA.
Philips TM700 is a touchscreen based phone with a 2.2-inch LCD display, a 2 Megapixel camera, built-in media player that supports MP3, 3GPP, H.263 and H.264 videos, and a microSD card slot. The TM700 is also capable of handwriting recognition.
