Philips has sold its cellphone division to a Chinese company and the company has launched the Xenium X800 touchscreen smartphone. The Xenium X800 supports tri-band GSM and EDGE networks.
The Philips X800 features a 2.8-inch LCD touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth, integrated media player, FM tuner and business card recognition. The X800 offers a ultra long battery life of 1 month standby time and 10 hours of talk time. microSD card up to 8GB are supported.
The phone has been launched and is priced at HK$2130 (US$284).
