Panasonic introduces the LF-PB37JD 8X Blu-ray burner, which is probably Panasonic’s own version of the I-O Data BRD-SP8 Blu-ray burner.
Panasonic LF-PB371JD can write both Single and Double layer BD-R at 8x and BD-RW at 2. It can also burn DVD-RAM at 5X, DVD+/-R at 16X, DVD+/-RW at 6x and DVD+/-R DL at 8x. CD-R/RW are also supported. As for reading speed, BD-ROM is read at 8x.
This new BD writer has 8MB buffer and uses SATA interface.
