Kaleidescape announced its new 1080p Player and 1080p Mini Player that can produce “stunning video quality from ordinary DVDs”. Both of them has a DVD/CD ROM drive for DVD and CD playback. The Mini Player offers the same features as the 1080p player in a smaller size and lower price.
The two device can upscale DVD content and output 1080p video. The players also come with Kaleidescape’s video bookmarking technology that remove trailers, advertisements and DVD menu on rented DVDs.
