Panasonic presents the HDC-SD100 and HDC-HS100 AVCHD digital camcorders. They are the world’s first to have 1/6-inch 3MOS image sensor with 0.52 Megapixel resolution.
They offer 12x optical zoom, and 30x digital zoom, face detection, image stabilization and a 2.7-inch LCD display. Videos captured are encoded with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec and Dolby Digital (Dolby AC3)/5.1ch are supported.
Panasonic HDC-SD100 is a SD card based camcorder supporting SDHC up to 32GB while the HDC-HS100 has a 60GB hard drive in addition to SD support.
