According to Engadget, Dell is preparing its Eee PC challenger, the Mini Inspiron E series and E Slim series.
The Dell E will have three models, E Classic, E Video and E Video+. The E series will have a 8.9-inch display and is powered by Intel’s Diamondville, 512MB or 1GB of memory, 4, 8 or 16GB storage. They will support WiFi, WiMax and Bluetooth. There is also E Slim series with 12.1-inch display.
E is expected to be release in August and E Slim in September. Both series will run Windows XP and Linux OS, which is codenamed as BlackTop.
