Verbatim adds a 500GB 2.5-inch portable hard drive to its SmartDisk lineup. The new drive is the world’s first 2.5-inch 500GB external drive to feature the industry standard 9.5mm Z-height drive.
The new SmartDisk is available with a choice of a USB interface or a Combo FireWire/USB interface. It will be available in Q2 for less than $300 USD.
