Plextor introduces two new combo optical drives, PX-B300SA and PX-B920SA that supports both HD DVD and Blu-ray.
The first drive, PX-B300SA, is actually a DVD write while it can also play Blu-ray and HD DVD discs. With 4MB buffer, PX-B300SA writes DVD+/-R at 16x, DVD+/-R DL at 4x, DVD+RW at 8x and DVD-RW at 6x. It can also read Blu-ray RM at 6x and HD DVD-ROM at 3x.
The second drive, PX-B920SA not only writes DVD discs but also write BD-R at 4x and BD-RE at 2x. It can also read HD DVD at 3x. It has also 4MB buffer.
