Gateway announced the P-170 FX series of notebook PCs that feature a 17-inch LCD display. There are several models including the P-170 FX1, P-170 FX2 and P-170 FX MAX.
Gateway P-170 FX1 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 processor, 3GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive and GeForce 8800M GTS graphic card. It comes with a DVD Super Multi burner, 5-in-1 card reader.
Gateway P-170 FX MAX, on the other hand, is powered by an Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900 processor, 400GB hard drive, a 17-inch LCD display with 1920×1200 and a HD DVD optical drive. The P-170 FX2 sits in the middle of the above 2 models.
P-170 FX1 is priced at $1600, P-170 FX2 at $2000 while the P-170 FX MAX at $3000.
