Panasonic shows us the successor of the FZ8 which has 12x optical zoom. The new FZ18 features 18x optical with 28mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmarit Lens. It has a 8 Megapixel CCD sensor, 4X digital zoom in addition to the 18x optical zoom, MEGA OIS image stabilizer, ISO rating up to 1600 and a 2.5-inch LCD display.
The FZ18 has 27MB internal memory and it supports SD, SDHC, MMC memory cards. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 measures 6.5 x 8.5 x 4.3-inch for 12.57 lbs.
