at&t announced the two new slim 3G phones from Samsung, the SGH-A717 and SFH-A727. at&t’s Samsung SGH-A717 is a clamshell phone that is as thin as 12.9mm. It supports HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0 and microSD cards. It also work with at&t’s MobiTV and MobiRadio services. SFH-A727 has similar features but it is a candy-car style phone which is only 9.9mm thick.
Expect the A717 to hit on June 4th for $150 with the A727 to follow in the “coming weeks” (June 16th judging by the date in those pictures) for $100 — after 2 year contract and $50 mail-in rebate of course, which you’ll probably forget to send in.
