Panasonic HDC-SD3, HDC-DX3 Camcorders support H.264

Panasonic announced the HDC-SD3 and HDC-DX3 digital camcorder supporting 1080i (1920 x 1080) video recording and MPEG-4 AVC/H.264  for better image quality.

The Panasonic HDC-SD3 and HDC-DX3 both have 3×0.52 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 10x optical zoom, 30x digital zoom and a 3-inch LCD display.

The HDC-SD3 uses SD(up to 2GB)/SDHC(up to 4GB) memory card as storage media while the HDC-DX3 records videos to 8-cm DVDs (DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW/DL).
