Samsung shows us the BD-P1200 Blu-ray Disc player that is the successor to the BD-P1000. Other than Blu-ray Discs, the player is also capable of playing DVD and CD discs. It supports 192KHz LPCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, MPEG 2, DTS and MP3 formats, and up to 1080p resolution.
With Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) processor, the P1200 offers true 1080i to 1080p HD de-interlacing. It has HDMI output that supports Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) technology, which allows users to use a single remote control unit to operate other A/V products from Samsung.
