Samsung Electronics unveiled its new 50-inch (HPT5064) and 42-inch (HPT4264) plasma HDTVs. Both of them are equipped with Samsung;s Ultra FilterBright technology with enhanced panel and filter to minimize image glare and maximize contrast.
The HPT5064 has a resolution of 1365*768, contrast ratio of 10000:1, brightness of 1500cd/m2 while the 42-inch HPT4264 has a resolution of 1024×768, contrast ratio of 10000:1, brightness of 1500cd/m2. They feature 16-bit color processing to improve contrast and Silhouette Editor to eliminate false contours and dither noise in the fast moving scenes.
For connectivity, they have Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), Wise Link (USB2.0), and three HDMI ports.
