Motorola has announced it latest phone, the MOTORIZR Z6. Running Linux OS, the phone comes with kJava and features an improved user interface. The slider features a 320×240 TFT LCD display, a 2 Megapixel camera with light and landscape viewfinder. It supports Bluetooth.
The Z6’s media player supports Windows WMAv10 plus Janus DRM, MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC+ enhanced, AMR NB, WAV, XMF audio files. It is capable of video recording and playback of MPEG 4 3GPP, h.263 video formats. You can find 64MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. The MOTORIZR supports quad-band GSM/EDGE network and provides Airplane mode.
The MOTORIZR Z6 measures 105x45x16.2mm for 105g. It features high end finishes including a mirror-like finish, soft-touch feel, glass and metal. Motorola will release the phone in the first half of 2007.
