Samsung has launched in China the SCH-W579 GSM-CDMA Dual Mode phone. The phone can operate under both GSM and CDMA network simultaneously as both network are available in China. Te W579 sports a 2.6-inch 260k colors 320×240 TFT LCD main screen, a 1.1-inch 96×80 65k color secondary display and a 2 Megapixel camera.
Samsung’s W579 has 20MB internal memory and supports microSD memory cards for expansion. It supports Bluetooth and USB connection. The phone comes pre-loaded with Picsel document viewer supporting Word,, Excel, PowerPoint files.
It measures 94.5x54x21.15mm and weighs 132.8g. It is now available only in China.
