Seagate will ship its external desktop hard drive with 750GB capacity which is based on 750GB Barracuda 7200.10 next month. The 750GB drive inside runs at 7,200rpm and has 16MB of cache memory. It has an average latency of 4.2ms. The drive provides both USB and Firewire connectors and comes with both PC and Mac software for one-click automatic data backup.
The uni will be priced at around $559.
