With most newly introduced high end mobile phones coming with a memory card slot, the need for flash memory has driven companies to introduce cards with larger capacities.
Sandisk has released 1GB microSD card and 2GB miniSD card. The 1GB microSD, also called as TransFlash, can store upto 480 songs or 32 hours of music. A card converter is bundled with both card, for you to turn the card to be standard SD card.
Both card are now selling in Taiwan but price are not yet known. Other than the two cards mentioned, the company also released 1GB RS-MMC and 2GB MS Pro Duo.
